However, it trades off some force adjustability for the extended reach. Here's a closer look at its key features:
Unmatched Travel Distance: This gas strut boasts the most impressive stroke length (500mm) and extended length (1070mm) within the GSV14 series, making it the undisputed king for applications requiring the greatest operating range.
Adjustable Force: While offering a significant travel distance, the GSV14-500 has a slightly reduced adjustable force range of 150 Newtons (N) to 2000 Newtons (N) compared to other GSV14 models. This may be a consideration if you need the absolute strongest pushing or pulling force.
Durable Construction: Built to endure demanding environments, this gas strut features a thick 14mm diameter nitride plated piston rod for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. The epoxy paint treated cylinder provides additional protection against external elements.
