The SGS 90 litre air compressor is a must for professional workshops, garages and enthusiasts alike. Well balanced twin cylinder, slow running belt drive pump powered by a 3HP 230V single phase motor. This compressor displaces an impressive 397 litres/ Min (14CFM) from its heavy duty, in-line twin cast iron cylinder pump. For regular use around the garage or workshop, this fully portable machine operates up to a maximum pressure of 10 BAR (150psi). We recommend at a minimum a 16 amp or higher power supply. Please Note: This compressor is able to run from a normal 13 amp socket, however only on some installations. Because suitable conditions cannot be guaranteed we recommend a dedicated 30 or preferably 45 amp supply which will accommodate the motor starting current of 2 to 3 times the full load current of some 6,500 watts. Covered by a 2 year extended warranty. Due to a change in EU legislation the safety valve rings have been removed by ALL manufacturers of air compressors. This is due to the ring being incorrectly used to vent the compressor, causing undue wear which should not be present on a safety device. The air should drained from the tank via the valve on the belly of the tank. This location is used so that the water is drained at the same time.
